Math Tutoring Built on Understanding
High school and early college math, taught through logic, structure, and real problem-solving.
Hi, I’m Connor
Throughout my education, I found the most satisfaction in helping classmates understand math concepts that initially felt confusing or overwhelming. Taking the time to explain a problem clearly and seeing it finally click for someone else was consistently the most rewarding part of learning for me.
That experience shaped how I tutor today. I focus on identifying the gaps in understanding that cause students to feel stuck and rebuilding those foundations with clear explanations and structured problem solving. My goal is to help students gain confidence and independence, not just get through the next assignment.
If math has ever felt like something you fell behind in and never quite caught up, working through it with the right guidance can make a meaningful difference.
What I Help With
I work with students in Algebra I/II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I/II, and math-heavy courses for computer science and engineering pathways.
My Approach
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and approach math the same way I approach technical problems: breaking complex ideas into clear, logical steps. My goal is to help students understand why something works so they can solve problems confidently on their own.
I’m passionate about teaching and believe anyone can learn math with the right explanations, structure, and encouragement.
